Adrian is an amazing teenager and one of my best friends - I often have to remind myself that she's a youngster! Adrian came to stay with us over the summer and if I had a kid, I would want her to be just like Adrian in every way.
This past October, Abs, Scott and I took a trip to Florida for Adrian's 15th birthday party. Adrian is a huge fan of Abbie's and her mom thought it would be a great birthday surprise to hire Abs to photograph the party. Mind you we planned this last year, and it was so hard to keep from spilling the beans. The party was great fun and Abbie did an amazing job as usual. Here are a few of the selects from the photo session the day before the Quinceañera. Happy 15th Adrian! We love you.

You don't realize the impact you've made on my life. Truly, I aspire to be everything you are. You're the most down-to-earth person I know, and I know that I can go to you for anything. You're one of my very best friends, even if I am a 'youngster' ;)
