A huge and gracious thank you to my dear friend Abbie, for putting together, and sharing this wonderful collection of images and experiences. It is hard to say which was my most favorite part of this adventure. All I can remember is how grateful we both were to have waited to experience these sights. Abbie explains below, we both shared the same feeling.
I could spend a year out there just exploring, and collecting specimens for my rock collection. Our last few days in the Southwest were bittersweet. Neither of us wanted to return back to the real world. Looking forward to part two of our continued adventures. Stay tuned!

"My friend Jessie and I saved the best for last on our road trip – Day 4 was spent at the Grand Canyon. It’s crazy to even type this, but I’d never seen the Grand Canyon, at 27 years old. When my friends from Europe hear that, they always scold me because I’m only hours away from it by car, and many of them have traveled halfway around the world to see it. Thia trip--with its wonderful pictures and vivid commentary--brought me to a place I have only seen on "Ancient Aliens." :-) The black and white shot and the storm were particularly amazing. Thank you for taking me on your trip!
